OUR PROMISE

What responsible breeding means to us

Bringing a litter into the world is a responsibility we take to heart, not a hobby or a side business. Every decision we make starts with the same question: is this best for the puppies and the families who will love them?

We breed rarely, intentionally, and only from dogs we know inside and out. Here is the standard we hold ourselves to with every litter.

Health-tested parents

Both parents are screened for the hip, eye, and genetic conditions relevant to their lines before they are ever bred. We keep the results on file and share them openly.

Thoughtful pairings

We pair for temperament, structure, and health, never for color or trend alone. A calm, sound companion matters far more than a fashionable coat.

Early socialization

Puppies grow up underfoot with gentle daily handling, new sounds, surfaces, and people, so they meet the world curious and confident rather than fearful.

Small, spaced litters

We raise only a couple of litters a year so every mama fully recovers and every puppy gets the individual attention that shapes a wonderful adult dog.

Matched, not first-come

We get to know your family and match you with the puppy whose personality fits your home, energy, and experience, rather than handing out pups in line order.

A home for life

If life ever changes and you cannot keep your dog, we ask that they come back to us. No Hickory Hills puppy should ever end up in a shelter.

MEET THE FAMILY

Hi, we're the family behind Hickory Hills Doodles

After years of dreaming, we finally welcomed our first Goldendoodle into our home — and fell completely in love with the breed. What began as one beloved family dog has grown into a calling: raising healthy, confident puppies and connecting them with families who will love them for life.

Hickory Hills is a family endeavor. Vic, Joy, and our girls Ryleigh and McKenna are all part of raising and socializing every puppy, making sure each one gets daily love, attention, and positive experiences from the very beginning.

Our mission is to produce healthy, confident, well-rounded family companions with stable temperaments and a strong foundation for lifelong success. We follow the Puppy Culture program, incorporating Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), age-appropriate enrichment, emotional resilience, and positive socialization during each puppy's critical developmental stages.

At Hickory Hills, breeding is about much more than beautiful puppies. It's about giving each one the very best start in life and supporting families long after they bring their new best friend home.

GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions

How do I reserve a puppy?
Reach out by email with a little about your family, and once we've talked, a $250 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot on the waitlist for an upcoming litter. When puppies arrive, waitlist families choose in order and are matched by temperament.
How much is a puppy?
Our puppies are currently $1,875 — a 25% "inflation-assistance" discount from our usual $2,500. A $250 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot and is applied toward the total.
When can my puppy come home?
Puppies go home around eight weeks old, once they are weaned, vet-checked, and have started their vaccinations. Until then you'll get regular photos and updates as they grow.
Are Goldendoodles good with kids and allergies?
Wonderfully so. They are intelligent, gentle, and eager to please, which makes them a favorite family dog. Their low-shedding, low-dander coats are also a great fit for many households with mild allergies.
What kind of socialization do your puppies get?
Every litter is raised on the Puppy Culture program with Early Neurological Stimulation, age-appropriate enrichment, and gentle exposure to the sounds, surfaces, and people of everyday family life, so they leave curious and confident.
Do you offer a health guarantee and ongoing support?
Yes. Puppies go home with a health guarantee and are raised from health-tested parents. Support doesn't end at pickup — we're an email away for the whole life of your dog, and we ask that any Hickory Hills pup always come back to us if you ever cannot keep them.
